In Q1 2023, the top 5 PVP games on iOS in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends.

Roblox started the quarter with approximately 570K weekly downloads, which gradually declined to about 285K by the end of March. Despite this, its weekly revenue remained robust, peaking at around $8.9M at the start of the quarter and stabilizing to approximately $6.1M towards the end. Weekly active users saw a slight dip from 12.4M to about 11.6M throughout the quarter.

Chess - Play & Learn experienced a peak in weekly downloads at around 285K in early February, but this number declined to 144K by the end of March. The app's weekly revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $300K to $350K. Active users increased from 1.7M at the beginning of the quarter to a high of 2.3M, maintaining this level towards the end of March.

Subway Surfers saw a steady decrease in weekly downloads from 339K at the start of the quarter to about 180K by the end. Revenue also showed a slight decline, starting at around $51K and settling at approximately $38K. Active users fluctuated, ultimately ending the quarter slightly lower at around 8.3M.

Survivor!.io had weekly downloads starting at 240K, with a gradual decline to about 140K by the end of March. Revenue trends were also variable, peaking at approximately $929K mid-January and ending the quarter around $629K. Active users decreased from nearly 2M to approximately 1.5M over the same period.

Call of Duty®: Mobile began the quarter with 270K downloads, which tapered off to around 149K by the end of March. Despite this, revenue remained strong, peaking at around $3M early in the quarter and ending at approximately $2.7M. Active users showed a slight dip from 3M to about 2.7M.
